Greg Savage

Associate Prof Savage initially trained at Monash University in the '80s with a PhD in experimental psycholinguistics, and developed an interest in neuropsychology while on an MRC postdoctoral fellowship at Birkbeck College, University of London. He subsequently studied for his MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology at The University of Melbourne and he has since combined clinical practice in psychiatric and neuroscience settings with neuropsychological research, mainly on memory and language. He took up a research position at MACCS in 2007, and will have a principle role in developing a clinical neuropsychology service at Macquarie University Private Hospital, which is due to open in 2009. He provides neuropsychological services to patients of Macquarie Neurosurgery and associated neurologist colleagues.
