Dr
Davidson graduated from University of Queensland in 1994, and served
as a Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Navy until 2002, where
he attained the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander. He
then undertook Neurosurgical specialisation, training at Royal
North Shore Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, The Children’s
Hospital at Westmead, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
In 2005, Dr Davidson was awarded the John Loewenthal Medal for
his research on dural arteriovenous malformations, and graduated
with the degree of Master of Surgery from University of Sydney
in 2006. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian
College of Surgeons, and commenced practice in 2008.
Dr Davidson’s current research interest involves safety
and efficacy in the management of brain arteriovenous malformations.
